ABOUT THE STUDIO

BekArch is an architectural studio founded by Ing. arch. Jan Bek, built on the founder’s solid professional experience and a cultivated approach to contemporary architecture. The studio is based in the prestigious Vinohrady district of Prague, from where it designs residential and commercial projects with a strong emphasis on calm architecture, proportion, and detail.

We work as a compact team of architects, where each project is the result of shared thinking, open dialogue, and careful consideration of context. We believe in architecture that is not designed to impress at first glance, but to endure over time—materially, functionally, and aesthetically.

We approach buildings and interiors as a single, cohesive whole. From the initial concept through architectural design to realization, we collaborate with trusted partners and craftsmen. We place the greatest value on projects where we can shape a building both externally and internally, creating environments that are coherent, restrained, and naturally functional.

Our work is regularly featured in professional competitions and publications. Selected awards include:
