Traditional House in Vysočina_Řásná

phase: Architectural study, coordination of permit documentation, interior design documentation year: 2025 photo/visual: BekArch s.r.o.

A traditional two-story family house in a small village in the Vysočina region. The ground floor is dedicated to a spacious living room with a kitchen and terrace. Following the sloped terrain, the living room is lowered by a few steps, creating a more open and airy connection to the garden. A single-flight open staircase within the living room serves as an interesting interior feature. The ground floor also includes a guest room, a bathroom, a wardrobe, and a utility room. On the second floor are the master bedroom with its own wardrobe and bathroom, two additional bedrooms, and another bathroom.

The building’s massing respects the traditional village context. The house features a conventional pitched roof complemented by modern architectural elements: a glazed corner with an extended roof overhang, a pergola, and a volume containing the entrance and garage. Thanks to the interior layout, the building is integrated into the sloped site, with the functional arrangement and massing stepping down toward the eastern boundary of the plot.
