This two-storey family house design respects the existing surrounding buildings by aligning the frontage with the street line while opening the building up towards the garden. The floor plan reflects the surrounding development and the existing building. The U-shaped mass of the building creates a secluded atrium space with a terrace and greenery, seamlessly connecting to the living areas of the house. This creates an intimate part of the garden sheltered from the neighbours. The main portion of the house defines a separate section of the garden, which will be designated as a utility area. The morphology and design of the house takes inspiration from the current surrounding development and the demolished building, ensuring a cohesive streetscape. From the street view, the property is divided into the main house block and a lower garage building. Traditional family house functions are housed within the two-storey section, followed by the ground floor garage and smoothly transitioning into the wellness area. The ground floor features a spacious living room with an integrated kitchen and concealed pantry, a guest room, bathroom, dressing room, and utility room. There is also a large garage accessible from the entrance hall, which includes a seating area and offers access to additional storage space. Behind the garage, there is a separate study with its own facilities. The principal areas on the ground floor are designed to embrace the residential atrium, with generous glazed areas ensuring maximum connectivity to the outdoors. Beyond the study, a separate wellness area offers amenities such as a jacuzzi, sauna, and ample relaxation spaces both inside and outside the building. The second level is dedicated to privacy, featuring large ensuite bedrooms with walk-in closets and additional rooms. These spaces have access to a terrace situated on the roof of the garage, providing an outdoor retreat for the residents.
