This design of a simple extension to the existing school, will increase the necessary capacity of teaching space and at the same time increase the comfort of use of the building. The design is primarily aimed at improving the quality of the cloakroom and canteen, which are currently in a deplorable state. New building provides for new spaces that meet the requirements of today and create a pleasant environment. The extension also includes two new classrooms, a teacher’s office as well as an after-school and leisure club that can serve as an added teaching space as well as a recreation room.

A new cloakroom is located on the first floor, which will serve as a new entrance to the building, variably either from the newly constructed car park to the west of the site or towards the village to the north. The cloakroom is open to two elevations and creates a light and open space. The cloakroom is connected to the staircase with a lift and can also be accessed from the existing building. There is also a multi-purpose club on the 1st floor with access to the terrace and a new canteen. This can also be connected to the outdoor terrace and offer seating in the garden during the warmer months. On the second floor there are two classrooms for 30 pupils, a teacher’s office which can also be used as a meeting room and sanitary facilities. Also on the second floor, it is possible to go up several stairs to the existing building. The corridor along the classrooms is significantly sunlit and illuminated by skylights along its entire length to ensure the greatest possible light comfort of the building.
