Amazing Places – Magical Newcomer 2025
The 2PEAKS mountain semi-detached apartment building in the Ore Mountains emphasizes landscape connection and comfort. Named after the Klínovec and Fichtelberg peaks, its gable windows are precisely aligned using GPS coordinates to frame views directly from the dining table. Each building comprises three spacious 103 m² apartments. Natural materials integrate the architecture into its surroundings. Siberian larch cladding extends from the facade into the interiors and terraces, while sheet metal, gabions, and a standing seam roof create a harmonious dialogue between contemporary architecture and the mountain landscape. Thoughtfully designed details enhance comfort while strengthening the connection between architecture and nature.
