The design of this intimate bar interior in the basement of a residential building in Karlín—carried out entirely from the shell-and-core phase onward—preserves the original historic vaults and cleverly minimizes any structural alterations. The layout seamlessly guides visitors from the entrance bar area, with its adjoining restrooms, to the main seating area. The atmosphere of the venue is intentionally dim and moody, clearly defined by the striking dominance of dark green tones. The elegant design tastefully combines rough, exposed brickwork with luxurious materials—the large-format green marble, the velvety upholstery of the long benches, and the glossy emerald-green cladding of the bar counter all catch the eye. Dark wood accents, subtle black furniture, intimate table lighting, and vibrant climbing plants all come together to create the unique, distinctively stylish character of the entire space.
